Raza Jamia Masjid​

Blackburn is at the heart of an area of significant Muslim settlement in the UK. The area has many beautiful mosques. You can visit this fabulous masjid in nearby Accrington. Founded in 2017, the overall cost of the facilities at Raza Jamia Masjid was £8.5M approx. and has an area of around 42,000 sq ft.

Blackburn Cathedral

Visit our most breath-taking Anglican Blackburn Cathedral which has been a Church for more than 1000 years. In 1926, the remarkable parish church of St Mary was raised to cathedral status.

First opened in 1857, minutes away from Blackburn town centre, is the Victorian Corporation Park. Explore acres of beautiful greenery, colourful bouquets, water fountains and

Planet Ice Blackburn Arena​

Opened in January 1991 and home to the Blackburn Hawks and Blackburn Eagles stands the 3,200- seat Blackburn Arena. Pick up your skates and enjoy ice skating all year round at the incredible Olympic-sized ice rink.

Blackburn Rovers

Blackburn Rovers Football Club is a professional football club that competes in the EFL Championship and has achieved 27 FA Premier League Wins!

Blackburn Rovers promote equality and diversity with their team of players coming from various backgrounds. This was also showcased when they became the first football team in the country to provide space on the pitch for Muslim Eid prayers. What a remarkable sight it was!
